Robert Shahidi:Owner of 3T's All Star Sports Academy and currently in his 11th year on the Ames High Baseball Coaching Staff.  Robert has worked with the Baseball Coaching Staff's at Creighton University, University of Arizona & Florida Gulf Coast University. 
Coach Shahidi is also a PGA Class A Professional. He graduated from Ames High School as a 4A State Golf Champion and went on to play at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. He has been a Head Golf Professional at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO and at The Golf Club at Fiddler's Creek in Naples, FL.

Eric Bappe:Coach Bappe has been the Ames High Varsity Baseball Coach for 12 years. He coached Multiple All-Conference and All-State players. He has 22 years experience in Baseball and Football coaching. He has been giving private baseball lessons and multi player clinic's for the last 10 years. Coach Bappe has also worked with the Baseball Coaching Staff at Creighton University and the University of Arizona.

Kyle Hannais the former Head Baseball Coach at Des Moines Area Community College. During his 4 seasons with the DMACC Bears as the head and assistant coach, his teams had a combined 161-74 record. The teams also won 3 Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Championships and participated in the NJCAA World Series in 2012. He coached 5 NJCAA All-Americans, 2 Rawlings Gold Glove Winners, and an NJCAA National Player of the year in 2014. In the 4 years that Hanna was at DMACC there were over 15 players taken in the Major League Baseball draft and over 30 players who went on to play at NCAA Division 1 programs including Dallas Baptist University, Iowa, Kansas State, Florida Atlantic, Minnesota, Maryland, Wichita State, Oklahoma State, Penn State, and Illinois State to name a few.

Steve Serratore  is in his first year coaching at the collegiate level at DMACC where he will be in charge of the Bears hitting and working defensively with the catchers.
 Serratore comes to DMACC just after completing his collegiate career at Kansas State University this past season of 2017.  In his final season for the Wildcats, Serratore played in a career-best 49 games (49 starts) with a .292 average, .400 OBP and .466 SLG ... Set career highs in hits (52), triples (2), home runs (6) and RBI (42) ... Second on team with 42 RBI, 20 two-out RBI and 12 multi-RBI games ... Totaled 14 multi-hit games ... Hit .348 (23-for-66) with runners in scoring position ... Posted a career-best five hits and five RBI vs. Iowa on Mach 19 ... Hit K-State's first grand slam since 2013 against Liberty on February 25 in Lexington, South Carolina ... Hit go-ahead three-run homer in final series of season at Baylor ... First career multi-homer game against Northwestern State on March 8. He played the majority of the season in right field.
 Prior to his career at Kansas State, Serratore played for DMACC in 2013 and 2014 under head coach Kyle Hanna. In his freshman season of 2013 he would go onto hit .338 (54-for-160) with 12 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs, 41 RBI and a .418 OBP in 51 games. Playing catcher, he threw out 15 of 34 attempted base stealers (44%) He was named second team all-conference as a freshman and second team academic all-region in 2013. In his sophomore season, he only played in 11 games hitting .343 (12-for-35) with five doubles and nine RBI while throwing out 43% of base stealers (6 out of 14) before being granted a medical redshirt in 2014.


Gary Gorman: Coach Gorman has been the Head Softball Coach at Ames High School for the past 13 years. He has coached 16 players who are currently playing or have played at the college level. He has coached several All-Conference and All-State players. He has twenty-six years of experience playing and coaching fastpitch softball. Coach Gorman is the Mathematics Teacher at Ames High School he has his BS Degree in Liberal Arts and Science, majoring in Mathematics at Iowa State University and Master of Education.
